Often overlooked, especially on vehicles that are reaching higher levels of modification, is the importance of reinforcing the chassis. All vehicles experience flexing of the unibody under various handling loads. Twisting of the chassis is also very common on higher horsepower vehicles.
The SUSTEC UNDERBRACE prevents this unwanted behaviour by connecting specific points of the undercarriage to reinforce the chassis. Unique internal double-i-beam construction is highly rigid and lightweight, so the chassis may be significantly reinforced without adding surplus weight.
Tanabe Chassis Tuning
Sustec chassis components include additional parts to reinforce and tune vehicle characteristics on your Acura Integra. The Sustec Tower Bar and Under Brace combine to make two steps for chassis rigidity improvement. And the Sustec Stabilizer Bar is available for fine-tuning chassis balance.
Under Brace. Total Chassis Tuning - Ultralight Parts for Chassis Flex Reduction
Often overlooked, especially on vehicles that are reaching higher levels of modification, is the importance of reinforcing the chassis. The SUSTEC UNDERBRACE prevents this unwanted behavior by connecting specific points of the undercarriage to reinforce the chassis of your Acura Integra. Unique internal double-i-beam construction is highly rigid and lightweight, so the chassis may be significantly reinforced without adding surplus weight.
Lightweight, Highly Rigid Double I-Beam
The internal construction of the brace features a double I-beam construction which helps these braces achieve their high level of rigidity. The underbrace significantly increases rigidity, without adding surplus weight. When used with the Sustec Tower bar, Stabilizer, and suspension package, the vehicle becomes very competitive in the handling department.
Ultra Lightweight Ovalshaft
Constructed of reinforced aluminum, the Underbrace features a highly rigid ovalshaft design that features excellent construction quality and fitment.
2 or 4 Point Bracing
Specially engineered to connect to points of the chassis that would provide the highest rigidity and flex reduction, the braces are available in 2 or 4 point configurations, depending on application. Front and Rear braces are available on most application, as well as some with Center braces. By reducing flexing and distortion of the chassis, stability between left and right sides is improved, which means sure-footed handling.
