The CorSport Rear Lower Strut Tower Bar for the 2001 thru 2005 Honda Civic attaches to the strut mounts and directly above (or below) the rear carpet. This is a street quality, polished, oval, rear upper strut bar that mounts to the chassis on the actual strut towers using custom brackets. We recommend the use of the rear CorSport H Bar in addition to this rear upper strut bar application to get the maximum rear rigidity. Overall improvements include: less body roll, better cornering, improved turn in response, typically less understeer, stiffer rear end, etc.
