2006-2011 Honda Civic Si StopTech ST40 Big Brake Kit (Front)

The larger the rotor, the increased heat capacity, and stiffer calipers coupled with stainless steel lines reduce the system compliance.

These two things have to be properly balanced or you upset the stock torque ratios from the front to rear brakes. An upgrade with too much front torque reduces the vehicle’s ability to use traction from all of the tires. Also, larger pistons oftentimes make the brake pedal too hard to modulate, which is limiting on the racetrack.
